ypossage, a contouring bodywork that breaks up adhesions, flushes out toxins and stimulates lymphatic draining to detoxify your tissues, smooth cellulite, tone skin and slim target areas.
Lypossage requires a series of sessions because the reduction is only temporary unless treatment is continued over a period of time. It is traditionally offered in packages of 18 sessions, best done over a six-week period to give you the best results.
It’s best for people who are within 30 pounds of their ideal weight for those problems areas that do not respond to diet and exercise. However, when combined with diet, exercise and elimination of toxins, it can produce a lifting effect in areas prone to sagging.
So, the diet and exercise are self-explanatory. But what’s this about toxins? Lypossage is designed to increase lymphatic drainage to release toxins that are trapped in your fat cells. When your body has more toxins than it can release through your normal elimination channels, it encapsulates the toxins in fat cells to protect you. Therefore, as we’re working to release these trapped toxins from the tissues, we have to make sure they can exit the body efficiently.
Our initial assessment will help us to determine what you need to get your elimination channels working properly so that your treatments will be most effective.
Lypossage divides the body into 3 zones.
Zone 1 is the most popular target area, the area most prone to cellulite. This zone extends from the waist to the knees.
Zone 2 extended from the waist up to the area just below the clavicle.
Zone 3 includes the neck, face and head.
You can choose to work only one zone or any combination of the three, depending on your needs and goals.
A session for one zone is about 30 minutes. You will need to allow a little extra time for check-in and setup.
Once per week, we’ll take photos and measurements to track our progress. All information is confidential, just for you and me to see how we’re doing and what’s needed. Of course, I respect your needs for safety and modesty and will never push you beyond your comfort zone. Therefore, communication is very important throughout our work together.
What you can expect:
In a study of 100 women who received Lypossage three times per week for six weeks with no changes in their diet or exercise, the average loss was 6.5 inches total across 5 measurement points. You can expect to reduce inches, especially from your hips and thighs. Most people do not see weight loss from Lypossage alone.
