What is the CAREFOR Connection?

CAREFOR Connection is a simple and practical 7-step spiritual healing process that can liberate you from your destructive patterns, return you to your inner truth and bring you to a state of self-love and self-respect. This is the basis for our healing work.

CAREFOR is an acronym for the seven steps that guide you into the CAREFOR Connection.  If you desire to live a more fulfilling life aligned with your Divine purpose, the CAREFOR Connection can help you to discover that purpose and begin to live your life in the service you were meant for.  If you are in physical or emotional pain, the CAREFOR Connection can help you to access your inner truths and strengths that are key to your healing process so that you can heal your body, heart and soul.

Learn the CAREFOR Connection Process:

CAREFOR is an acronym for the seven steps that make up the CAREFOR Connection Method:

  • Call to the Divine.
  • Ask for what is in your heart.
  • Repeat the Sacred Name.
  • Extend your heart to the Divine.
  • Find the Jewel God has for you.
  • Open your being to receive.
  • Respect your body as the Sacred Temple.

Call to the Divine.

The process begins with an invocation.  Call to the Divine by a Sacred Name.  Invoke the presence of the Source of Truth and Healing, the Unity of all creation.   Feel this presence before you as you would your most intimate and trusted friend.  For this is your most intimate and trusted friend.

What is meant by a Sacred Name?  A Sacred Name is a name for the Divine in a sacred language, such as Arabic or Aramaic.  Words spoken in these ancient languages carry the vibrational frequencies of the meanings of what the words represent.  For instance, everything has energy which resonates at a certain frequency.  Sounds are resonant frequencies.  In a Sacred Language, when you call to The One, you are invoking the energetic frequency of the essence of the Sacred Presence.

The Sacred Name in Arabic is Allah, meaning The One.  In Aramaic, the Name is Allaha.  When you say the Name, elongate the “aaah” sound.  The “aaah” is the sound that resonates at the frequency of the heart center of the human body.  This will help to open your heart to receive the Presence.
These Names also contain the “LL” sound.  When you touch your tongue to the roof of your mouth in making the “LL” sound, you are completing the circuit between two energetic pathways, called the governing and conception vessels in Chinese medicine.

Try the names and feel what works for you.  I use the Name, Allah, said “Allaaah”.  In our US culture today, many associations have been made with the Arabic Name that are not in agreement with the word’s actual meaning.  Try to let go of any preconceived ideas that have been associated with this Sacred Name and allow yourself to feel the true meaning.  These Names were used before the religions were developed.  If you’re not comfortable with the Arabic, try the Aramaic Allaha, said “Allaaaha”.  Aramaic is said to be the language that Jesus spoke.

Ask for what is in your heart.

What is your heart yearning for?  What is your deep need in this moment?  In the presence of your Source, take the active step to ask for what you need.  God knows the Truth of what is in your heart. In fact, God puts the yearnings in your heart so that you will feel your longing, call out, and allow yourself to be guided and healed.

Don’t worry about being perfect.  As you work with the following steps, your yearning may be clarified for you, and you may find it to be a little different from where you first started.  This is common and natural when you’re starting out.  Just trust and follow.  Be open for guidance.

Repeat the Sacred Name.

Feeling the presence of the Divine and the yearning in your heart, begin to repeat the Sacred Name directly into your heart, as if you are placing the words into the center of your heart space with your breath.  Elongate the “aaah” sound and feel your heart space relax with each breath.  Allow the essence of the Divine to flow into your heart like water to wash away anything that does not resonate with the truth of who you are and keeps you from living in the Divine Reality.  This is a cornerstone practice that is used throughout the CAREFOR Connection process.

Extend your heart to the Divine.

You have consciously brought the presence of the Divine into your heart with the Remembrance of the Sacred Name.  Now reach with your heart to meet that Presence.   It is said of the Divine, “If you reach to Me a hand, I extend to you an arm’s length; if you come to Me walking, I come to you running.”  So take the active step of extending your connection, reaching out, and feel the return of the Divine presence flowing into your heart.  If you are working with a partner, you will extend your heart to connect with the Divine in your partner’s heart as well.

Find the Jewel the Divine has for you.

Find the Jewel for you in this moment.  Whether you are using this process for self-healing, for deepening your connection to the Divine, for discovering your life’s purpose, for building a stronger connection with an intimate partner, strengthening your bond with a family member, or for serving your clients, there is a Jewel for you – a gift that the Divine has for you in this moment.

Maintaining the connection you’ve established so far, ask to be shown this Jewel.  Continue the Remembrance of the Name into your heart and trust.

When working with a partner (or client), you will find the jewel in your partner’s heart as well.  Let the essence of this Jewel come into your being so that you can reflect that for your partner, allowing him or her to see his/her own reflection and begin the realize to Truth and Beauty of his/her own creation.

Open your being to receive.

This Jewel is a gift for you.  It may be a template for the deep Truth of who you were created to be and what you are here to do, or it may be a life lesson that is needed for your healing or for your return to know your creator.  Allow this Jewel to come into your being and ground you to the earth.  Feel it come into you like rain and flow through you to hydrate all of your cells.  Let it become a part of who you are and transform you into what you truly are.  This step takes you from the knowing of who you are to the being of who you are.

Respect your body as the Sacred Temple.

We were created in the image of the Divine.  It is said of the Divine, “Neither the Heavens nor the Earth contain Me, but the heart of my faithful believer contains Me.”  When you move into the state of being, you feel the sacredness of your Jewel throughout your entire body and soul.  You feel the holiness of who you are and the beauty of what you were created to be.  Your body is the vessel that carries you through this life, the house of this holy essence, the temple of this sacred image.  Respect your body as this Sacred Temple.  Feel that respect.

This is true for all people.  When you are working with a partner, allow yourself to see him or her as the Sacred Temple as well.  Feel the respect for them that you would feel for the house of the Divine.  Reflect that for your partner so that he or she may feel it for himself or herself as well.
You are now in the CAREFOR Connection.  Stay in the Remembrance as you continue to feel this state, allowing it to template your being and make you into a new creation, actually your true creation.  Say to yourself, “I CAREFOR myself”, “I CAREFOR my Source”, I CAREFOR my beloved, my loved ones, my clients.  Allow this connection to template you, and associate it with the CAREFOR statement. Then when you feel yourself drifting and remember this state, repeat your CAREFOR statement, “I care for…”,  to return to this connection.

It takes time and practice to template yourself.  Stay with it.  The more you work with it, the easier it becomes to return to this state with the repetition of the CAREFOR statement.  It’s like learning the alphabet, then learning to sound out the words, then learning to associate meaning with the words.
